For the Burgers
- 350g Pulled Buffalo (2 Packs)
- 4x Burger Buns (or Round Bread of your Choice)
- 300g Authentic Greek Yoghurt (2 Packs)
- 2x Tomatoes
- 100g Green Salad Mix (Try Rucola for a Nice Sweet-Spicy Combination)
For our Burgers’ Sauce
- 100g Shallots
- 30ml “Petimezi” (Grape Juice Syrup)
- 30ml Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 5g Fine Pure Sea Salt (1x Espresso Spoon)

Step by step
“BuffBurger”… the next level in burgers!
The recipe is simple & is based on the purity & amazing taste of the ingredients & especially our “Pulled Buffalo” with slow-cooked water buffalo meat from “Kerkini Farm”. Start with the sauce by adding 20ml of the “petimezi” in a pan. Warm it up & add the shallots in small dices to caramelize them for 3-5mins. In a bowl add the authentic greek yoghurt, the rest of the “petimezi” (10ml), the extra virgin olive oil & the sea salt & mix them. Add the caramelized shallots after you have left them to cool down for ~5mins. After the sauce & the rest of the ingredients (buns/bread, salad, tomatoes) are ready & waiting for the tasteful buffalo meat you can move on the final step… Place the pulled buffalo on a warm pan (or a grill if it is available or you have a BBQ) without any fat/oil & warm-up from both sides for 3-4mins. You can also “smash” the pulled buffalo & warm it up by stirring. Finally, simply build your burger with a spoonful of the sauce on the bottom part of the ban/bread, some green salad on top, the warm buffalo meat followed by tomato slices & close your deliciousness with the upper part of the ban/bread.
