“Agiorgitiko”… the Red Diva of the South!
“Agiorgitiko” is a commercially important indigenous Greek red grape variety. It can exhibit a wide range of characteristics, from soft to very tannic, depending on factors in the growing & winemaking processes. Alongside with the white “Moschofilero” are the trademark grape varieties of Peloponnese, where it is traditionally used to make wines that are known for their high level of fruitiness.
The “Agiorgitiko” from “Cavistas” has a bright colour with rosé petal notes. On the nose, it has sweet aromas of red fruits, ripe cherries, roses & honey. In the mouth, it is well balanced & has a full flavour with a final pleasant fruity touch.
The wine is offered in the latest generation of packaging that is completely environmentally-friendly & ensures its valuable content as respectively of a bottled wine. During usage, it maintains a minimal presence of oxygen inside, thus offering high durability against oxidations. Additionally, it aids the faster cooling & easier transportation of the wine.
