“rizes” (meaning “roots”) has sprung out of deep love for tasty Greek food products made with the best raw materials. The choice of the name has not been an arbitrary one. It vests this undertaking with a double symbolism but points to a single direction, that of return. Return to the roots of the Greek land, to our agricultural wealth, to our Greek agricultural products of exceptional quality & exquisite taste. Return to the roots of Greek cuisine, which is a pillar of the Mediterranean diet.

What makes these spreads special is the use of Greek concentrated organic grape juice instead of sugar customarily used in jams. They are categorized as spreads because their sugars content reaches 52% & not 64% as in ordinary jams. This does not mean less sweetness in taste. Their uniqueness lies in their high organic fruit content since they do not contain pectin. The spreads are made during summer with fresh fruits which ripen on the trees in the region of Western Macedonia. They are 100% natural, handmade products without preservatives or industrially processed ingredients.
