Handmade copper coffee pot with embossed design & tinning by traditional hand process. Ideal for double Greek coffee preparation. Be careful, it can’t be used on an induction stove!
Use & Care: Before the 1st use carefully hand wash the pot with soapy water, rinse & dry well. Never overheat an empty pot! First, use by bringing water to a boil. Always fill the pot with water before putting directly over the flame or heat source. Stir or mix carefully so as not to scratch the tin lining. Because copper is a highly conductive & anti-adhesive material it is unlikely that coffee/cocoa/salep will stick to the bottom of the pot, nevertheless if the inside of the pot gets burnt due to inattention immerse the pot in warm soapy water & leave to soak for hours until the mark will come away easily. Never use abrasive or chlorine-based substances!
External Maintenance: Rub with a soft cotton cloth frequently in order to bring back the polishing. In time copper oxidizes & gradually takes a darker antique-like colour. Many people like it. Though if you want to bring back the original brilliance, use the traditional solution, damp cloth in vinegar/lemon & salt solution & rub the copper pot or buy a cleaning product special for copper items.
