– 200 ml Extra virgin olive oil
– 400 g Strained yoghurt 10%
– 200 g Icing sugar
– 2 Eggs
– 6 Pastry lining
– 200 ml Orange juice
– 1 Vanilla sugar
– 1 Baking powder
For the syrup:
– 150 g Icing sugar
– 300 ml Orange juice
Step by step
Put eggs and sugar in the mixer and mix well. Slowly add the olive oil while mixing and then add the yoghurt and mix well.
Place the pastry lining -cut into small pieces and crumpled- in a baking tray and bake in the oven at 150 oC for about 5 minutes until crisp. Add them to the mixture and then add the orange juice, vanilla, baking powder and mix well.
Brush some olive oil on a baking tray and then fill with the mixture.
Bake for 25-30 minutes in pre heated oven at 150 oC. Prepare the syrup while the pie is baking so it is hot when added!
Your orange-temptation is now ready to absorb the syrup!!!
